Multiple Injuries Reported In Route 3 Crash, All Lanes Closed Multiple people were injured in an early-morning crash along Route 3 in Rutherford, authorities said. Rutherford Police Chief John Russo says the crash in the westbound lanes happened right under Route 17 around 5:15 a.m..As of 8 a.m., all lanes were closed. Several people were hospitalized and the Bergen County Prosecutor's fatal accident team was leading the investigation.

Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured On Garden State Parkway A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a camper on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. TheFord E350 Camper was heading south when it struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the roadway at milepost 145.2 in Irvington around 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
